This map is designed for people who like to blob and turtle against the AI (Skirmish).
FEATURES:
- Lots of gems and real estate for players, but much less for the AI.
- A choke point in the middle, with pre-made walls blocking this to delay the initial rush.
- Players spawn close to the choke point so they can immediately begin reinforcing it, while the AI is positioned much further away.
- The AI spawns on top of a small patch of ore to delay the Construction Yard from being deployed.
- The AI's spawn points are lined with pre-made Radar Domes to distract their artillery, and their gems are buffered by a layer of ore. All of this is again designed to slow them down at the beginning.
Finally, there is also an aquatic flank route to the side, along with a few "secret" shores which can be used for a stealthy breach.
A lot of thought and refinement has gone into designing the greatest blobbing / turtling / skirmish map ever, I hope you enjoy it!
TIPS:
- Players should spawn on the south of the map, as it is heavily skewed in favour of these positions. This map supports up to 2 human players vs. up to 6 AI players.
- When the game starts, your MVC will spawn inside a pre-built perimeter of walls. This area is just big enough for a Construction Yard, so don't move your MVC when you first spawn. Deploy it as soon as you can.
