This map is designed for people who like to turtle and blob against the AI (Skirmish).
WHAT'S NEW IN v2.0?
- Version 2.0 of thismap was redesigned with human players now spawning on the north instead of the south. I did this because I realised that harvester AI is designed to harvest to the north of their position. This makes it less likely now for harvesters from either side to venture into the wrong area. I have also provided the AI with more resources to support much longer games.
FEATURES:
- A choke point in the middle, with pre-made walls blocking this in order to delay the initial rush.
- Players spawn close to the choke point so they can immediately begin reinforcing it, while the AI is positioned much further away.
- The AI's spawn points are lined with pre-made Radar Domes to distract their artillery, which is designed to slow them down at the beginning.
Finally, there are a couple of flank routes along the sides.
A lot of thought and refinement has gone into designing the greatest blobbing / turtling / skirmish map ever, I hope you enjoy it!
TIPS:
- Players should spawn on the north of the map, as it is heavily skewed in favour of these positions. This map supports up to 2 human players vs. up to 6 AI players. The AI players should be set to the same team.
- When the game starts, your MVC will spawn inside a pre-built perimeter of walls. This area is just big enough for a Construction Yard, so don't move your MVC when you first spawn and deploy it as soon as you can.
