In the late 90s I made a ton of RA maps. So did my friend. I recently found a backup disk with all of them! This one is from him and is from 09 Jun 1997. One of his earliest maps. You can see the repeating straight edges and square deploymen of ore. We moved away from that basic design very quickly in our later maps.
