This GDI mission, set in desert theater, takes place in the period of reduced UN funding for GDI.
Mission Briefing: "Nod has taken full advantage of GDI funding cuts. Here in central Africa, for example, our base in the northwest has been attacked and badly damaged, while remaining GDI units in the area are in disarray. Your task is to reach the damaged GDI base, repair and rebuild, and when ready strike back and eliminate the local Nod presence. Fortunately we can afford to send in a Commando to aid you. Good luck."

This mission has been playtested only on Normal difficulty. I cannot guarantee that it won't be boringly easy on Casual or too hard on Hard.
If you can't access the mission by subscribing through the Steam application or through your internet browser, you must do the subscription in-game instead. Go to the mission selection screen, then the custom missions tab, then click "User Maps" and search for the mission. You might need to have all mods temporarily disabled for the search function to work properly.
