YES. You can start with 2000 gold.

You don't need to pick USSR, build power plant, sell it & buy refinery. Each player will start with 4 plants. Why 4 plants and not 2 power plants + 1 rax? Because I leave it to players to theory craft which build is the best. But to play this mode, ITS REALLY ADVISABLE TO NOT PLAY RANDOM SPAWN. PLAYER 1 MUST START FROM BASE AT 3 pm(EAST) followed by 5 pm, 7, 9, 11 & 1 pm. If you want to play 1v1, you can select player 1 & 4. For Right vs Left (3v3), you can select player 1,2,6 vs 3,4,5.
