Commander, we are set to launch our full scale amphibious assault on the shores of Normandy at 0600 hours. The enemy have set up heavy fortifications along the beachhead but our long range cruisers should help in breaking through with heavy bombardment.
Once you have cut a path through the fortifications, make your way to the south-east. There is an abandoned Allied base there which will act as our foothold. Get it up and running, then repel the enemy forces until you have amassed enough forces of your own to make a counter-attack against the main Soviet base to the north.
When all Soviet units and structures in the region are destroyed, the mission will be complete and we can safely move in more supplies to bolster our position and advance further inland. Our Rangers are now equipped with AA capability, use them well.
Everything is hanging on the success of this operation. Don't let us down.
