Pick the spot left to right corresponding with the color of team from top to bottom on the skirmish list, the only exception being red at the top spawn. So yellow is left most spawn, pink/brown being the right most, orange being the bottom middle. You are given a starting army. This is supposed to emulate the original version of Red Alert which allowed you to have up to 50 units in No Base mode. I reccomend all teams teaming up to defeat the Reds for easy mode (If you play with AI teammates it will be much harder), turn off teaming for impossible mode. You can turn on base building for a different experience (not reccomended). You are allowed to train units with your starting credits (if playing as The Reds), but no more credits will be found on the map, unless you enable crates and get lucky. Play as the orange team to get more starting units than the other colors....besides The Reds, of course...
